RUS Copernicus at the 11th ESA Training Course in Earth Observation

The European Space Agency (ESA), in cooperation with the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST), is organizing a Training Course on Earth Observation to be held online between 22nd – 26th March 2021. The main aim of this course is to promote and disseminate Earth Observation (EO) technologies in various scientific and industrial fields providing theoretical information followed by practical software exercises on ESA and Copernicus datasets.

RUS will contribute to the event by providing 4 different hands-on training sessions where participants will access a Virtual Machine from their own laptop to exploit the open source toolboxes available in the RUS environment to download and process Sentinel data.

Please note that the RUS Copernicus Virtual Machines used for this training course can only be provided to citizens/residents of the Copernicus programme member countries (EU plus Iceland and Norway).
